RF Controls is pleased to announce Robby Moss has joined our team as a Strategic Advisor to assist building relationships with leading Industrial Internet of Things innovators. Robby has experience deploying RF Controls overhead CS Smart Antennas and his passion for real-time visibility drives his focus on supply chain, distribution, and manufacturing domains. We are delighted for him to open his network and assist with accelerating RF Controls’ global channel partners go-to-market strategy.
Most recently, Robby spent 8 years as a Senior Manager and Director at Shipcom Wireless Inc., focused on Automatic Identification & Data Collection. He was the Principal Investigator on a US Navy Innovation project for global parts tracking, asset management, transportation and logistics, maintenance and repair, and smart facilities enabled by sensor-based IoT including RFID and GPS.
In October 2022, Robby was appointed as a member of the inaugural Internet of Things Advisory Board (IoTAB) by the U.S. Department of Commerce, to advise the Internet of Things Federal Working Group administered by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He is currently advising the federal working group on matters including the identification of federal regulations and programs or policies that may inhibit or promote the development of IoT, as well as situations in which IoT could deliver significant and scalable economic and societal benefits to the United States, including augmented logistics and supply chains, and healthcare.
Robby is also the President & Principal Consultant for TGL Enterprises LLC focused on supply chain solutions, program management, operations management, and IT implementations. With over 28 years of experience for the private and public sectors, his unique perspective delivers value tied to the benefits of IIoT and more broadly, digital transformations. Robby holds an MBA with a concentration in Management from the University of Houston and a BBA in Transportation/Logistics from Mississippi State University.
